Our client was rolling out a customised SAP-R3 implementation and found that it had problems trying to accommodate the features of all countries it was to support without significant further customisation.

We provided our user-configurable calculation engine to support the differing complexities of the tax, cost and price calculations of the 50 countries across 5 continents involved. This enabled the client to maintain the local features required and to react quickly to changes in the local markets, while also retaining historical values for region-wide reporting. This cost build-up engine has also been integrated with other ERP systems (SAP-R2, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.), and other local legacy systems.
